My video for feelgoodfriday is the video duo of Rodrigo y Gabriela on Conan, though it hurts my hands to watch them.
In July, I bought my Vibram Fivefingers shoes and have really enjoyed them. I’ve worn them for a lot of walking, even when I’m not walking just for exercise. I wore them all over the place at The Southern Festival of Books and though there was a lot of wet marble, I was comfortable, if a little more damp than I would have been in regular shoes. If you haven’t already seen these shoes, expect to see more, as well as other brands that are designed to be as closes to being barefoot as possible. Even Nike is getting in to the act. Check out the video after the break for a review of the shoe and concept.
I don’t know if you will ever accidentally find yourself in Bath Springs, Tennessee, but if you do, you will probably do a double take when you pass by Meo Mio’s. After all, there really shouldn’t be a restaurant at all in the middle of this sparsely populated restaurant, let alone one with a bar and crawfish tails.
Dr. Seuss’s Foot Book comes to mind almost every time I put on my new vibram® fivefingers®. I hesitate to call them shoes, because they’re really not shoes in the traditional sense, as you can see from the picture.
There are too many websites in the world. This article claims there are 150 web addresses for each person on the planet. I had several blogs of my own. I had a PC blog, a personal blog, and a karate blog. For other people I was maintaining several other blogs. I think I probably have 10 or 12 blogs and/or websites, and as a result I’m updating none of them. That’s not useful.
If I have something to say, this is where I’ll say it. If it’s about Christianity (highly likely) it will be here. Karate, Just Eating, Computers and Technology, pop culture, you name it, it will be here. It’s all of me. Me in 3d, that’s the idea anyway.

Might as well make the best of it, because here it comes again.
Here are some songs that talk about rain; some of which I like, some of which just get stuck in my head when it’s raining, some of which I never heard until I started searching for rain songs.
Eurythmics: Here Comes the Rain Again
personal note: I saw Annie Lennox sing this live, while it was raining.
BJ Thomas: Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head (I saw BJ Thomas sing this, but it was not raining.)
Creedence Clearwater Revival: Have You Ever Seen the Rain and Who’ll Stop the Rain (thanks Leah)
Rihanna: The Umbrella Song Not really my musical preference, but it’s definitely a rain song.
The Beatles: Rain (with some sunshine, too)
Madonna: Rain
Tom Waits: More than Rain
Carpenters: Rainy Days and Mondays (wish I had vid. for the Cracker remake)
There’s a million more. Purple Rain, I’m Only Happy When it Rains. Rain seems to be a good topic for music. Snow doesn’t seem to have as wide a reach. Lots of sunshine songs though. If I ever see the sun for 12 hours straight again, maybe I’ll post those next.
